In celebration of the 55th anniversary of the Vietnam Institute for Building Materials (VIBM) (1969-2024), VIBM is pleased to announce the organization of the International Conference on Building Materials 2024 (ICBM 2024). Themed "Building Materials in the 21st Century," the conference will be held in Hanoi, Vietnam, from October 31st to November 3rd, 2024, under the auspices of the Ministry of Construction of Vietnam.
The conference will cover a range of topics, including cement, concrete, refractory materials,fire-resistant materials, paints, glass, materials for transport construction, product qualitytesting methods, environmental protection and recycling wastes in building material industry. ICBM 2024 provides a diverse platform for international and Vietnamese researchers,academics, industry professionals, experts, and policymakers to exchange views and insightson recent and current developments in science and technology related to building materials in the 21st century. Additionally, discussions will focus on actions required for future buildingmaterials and construction development.
We anticipate the participation of approximately 350 researchers, experts, and policymakersfrom state management agencies, professional associations, universities, research institutes, and enterprises in Vietnam, as well as nearly 20 countries worldwide. The conferenceproceedings, including reports, will be collected and published by Springer Publishing and the Journal of Materials and Construction.
